Professional Practice

For part of our degree, we get a chance to present our idea of what we plan on doing after university and also show our CV and portfolios. I have created a CV and portfolio that shows off my latest work.

My Cv I created back in a secound year but I have updated it to show my latest job roles. I have made this cv with my logo that I have made for myself which is a slight change from the logo I had before.

My portfolio shows all of the work that I have completed this year including my final project and my dissertation design. I think this is a good way to show my work as it gives a snip preview of my work and a way to briefly describe what it is about. My portfolio has been made so that it is interactive and works in a way that my logo gets you back to all of my work and then you can choose from there what part you want to look at.

For our professional practice along with showing that we have a CV and a portfolio in place for once applying for jobs we also need to show a plan of what we plan on doing next. This includes any live application for a job or internship.

My initial plan is to do an internship in Graphic Design but abroad in Spain or Malta. I have looked into this and applied for a couple of internships but it figuring out realistically how long I can be away for and whether I can afford not being paid that much whilst out there. I have also applied for a job in Cardiff and looked at jobs in Bristol too. These are a full-time position in little Graphic Design branches.
